Is fast roaming enabled by default? I do not see any settings or configuration for it. I have a UAP-AC-Lite and a UAP-AC-M and see a quick connection drop when roaming between the two. Loading Ubiquiti Community Ubiquiti Community, The innovative antenna design provides a long-range, symmetrical-link coverage area, and the antenna gain of the UniFi AC LR AP performs better than one-way, high transmit power does for connecting distant clients. It is available in single ( UAP-AC-LR (US)) and five?packs ( UAP-AC-LR -5(US)). Scalable and Unified Enterprise WiFi Management, If you are using zero handoff roaming , this page will save you from tearing your hair out. The Ubiquiti documentation is poor and out of date, and the software allows you to get yourself stuck. That’s why you should read this short page. I bought the long range ones because they have a bit more power and I have a big house.
2/12/2016 · Since I love statistics, I turned on SNMP in the UniFi controller (it actually tells the access point to turn on SNMP and monitoring is done by connecting to the AP and not the controller), and setup Cacti to monitor traffic. There, of course, is very little use in me monitoring traffic on my network, but Im always curious about network performance and utilization.
6/16/2012 · With only one, roaming to 2.4 GHz or low SNR 5 GHz performance is expected at the far edges. When further away, you can see the impact of the slightly lower EIRP of the U6-Lite. The UDM and AC-HD are able to compensate with better beamforming, and ended up performing slightly better than the U6-Lite from the furthest location.
Introduction. Back to Top. The UniFi access points have a distinct hardware design to meet the varying needs of wireless deployments. A critical part of what differentiates each model is the number, arrangement, and orientation of the APs antennaswhich influences the shape and behavior of wireless signal (both on transmit and receive).
